About Me

Following my graduation from The University of Connecticut Coding Boot Camp facilitated by Trilogy Education Services, I have been working Freelance to build upon my skills as a front end web developer as well as thinking critically about the user experiance. I have been working to release products that will enhance the user experience and increase efficiency. I am eager to write adaptable code to be implemented in the future. While having to work from home due to COVID-19 I have been honing my skills in React, Javascript, as well as learning to write unit tests. In my previous position as an IT liaison, I utilized my skills in communication and my unique position as a quick learner to facilitate the growth of our system. Not to mention, facilitating the creation of a modern and cutting edge workflow for the company.

During my time at the University of Connecticut I acquired the following skills; HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap, Firebase, NodeJS, MySQL, MongoDB, Express, Handelbars.js, and React; as well as design paradigms integral to create a functional and ADA complient website.

I try to make a habit of collaborating with my peers in order to fix bugs and errors in their code in addition to my own. I am passionate about problem solving as a group in order to complete a goal and achieve usable code. I strive to delve deeper into documentation to gain a better understanding of the language I am using. I am currently enjoying Front End Development but am also eager learn more about Back End Development as well to become more of a Full Stack Developer.
